8:30 - getting closer to the 11 PM revelation :) So this next song should make us think of church together. I remember so many times how you listened to the pastors sermon at your church, and you told me how it spoke to you and our situation. I remember one particularly, about the branches of a tree, and how they grow away from the center and need extra nourishment, and if they dont get it, they tend to not be as healthy as the branches nearer the trunk. Kindof metaphoric for us. How you and I, together, we have spoken many times, are so on and what was our buzz word early on, in sync. How many times when we needed each other most, we thought about the other, or texted, or called exactly at the time we needed. I remember when you couldnt wait to go to church as a family, with me who wants to be there, and grow in our faith and spiritual preparation, and now fall asleep, or not embarrass you there, or want to hold hands, but not paw all over you as some might do. So many things that would make our Sundays so special, followed by a family day of playing games, or movies, or cook outs, or even grocery shopping, which can be made fun - all in the positive outlook of things. All about attitude and perserverence towards things we want, need, pine for, and yearn for. Kindof like I am continuing to do tonight. I dont know if you are seeing these dedications, but like Joel Osteen I believe you are. Youre online and the site is up, and the picture is still visible....hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.
