8/30/2014 10:33 AM The question was asked of me, If you were to claim one group of people more responsible for this entire affair, who would you single out. It did not take me long to think about it, and you will be surprised at my answer. My response then was, The blue hairs. It was easy to ascertain because this representation crossed all boundaries of politics, religion and culture. And by their silence and smugness tells me more than words could every attribute. Those people over 70 years of age, and this is what I have ascertained: • Their faith is weak • Their beliefs are shallow • They fear death Those combinations have forced them into pushing the envelope far overboard. Applying pressure to the bottom tier is always easier, when the upper tiers hold most of the influence. This is not to single out the elderly; however a great majority in the minority numbers are very influential. And can make things happen with a phone call, a corporate board decision, or a policy affecting many. As I sat in the foyer of the library this morning, there were a couple of women who were seated at the picnic table waiting for the doors to open. Of course they fawned over Jake, but I could tell these ladies were less than sincere or friendly overall. As the doors opened, they started to enter when one of the women stated, Your shift is over, we are going to kill you. With that I responded, Ladies, YOU are the reason for virtually all the decisions here in this state. You slept with the devil, and now you and yours are going to get what is coming to you. YOU are as responsible for this mess as anyone. Normally, I will respect my elders to the nth degree. However, in this case I take exception. For these simple reasons: • I dont like mouthy people, especially old bags. • I dont like liars and deceivers. • I don’t like finger pointers. • I cant stand people who defy the truth, • And won’t take responsibility for their actions. With that said, I have said enough on that subject. Mind you, the 18-27 year olds are causing more than their share of problems. In sheer numbers, they do out distance all other groups. Because of lack of respect, poor parenting by theirs, and a I don’t give a crap attitude, this is our country now. Trust me, there is more than enough irresponsible actions by many, that most can relate to in one fashion or another. Today it is not me being a primary contributor. I am more like the Fire Prevention officer trying to stop the forest fire before it begins. About 5 years ago, there was an Angel who I recognized from before. One of her instructions at this time of our encounter, stated Try to keep it as safe as bloodless as you can. I acknowledged her statement with an affirmative. And I have tried to do that, but I have no control over anyone other than myself. Because when a heart and mind have been closed to truth and reason; there is very little someone can do in reaching them.
