8 December 2014, We cant believe it has been four years since OUR FOUNDER Steve lost his battle with Cancer at such a young age. Steve had a vision of the COMMUNITY taking ownership of their Veterans, to have an organization that is run by ALL VOLUNTEERS and that peoples hard earned money they donate goes to a mission and not in the pocket of someone other then the Veteran we want to help. It started by the passing of a coffee can in a classroom and today has grown into what we are today. I believe WE are successful because we stuck to the blueprint Steve left us, we kept his vision as pure as it was intended to be. We also know its because of ALL OUR SUPPORTERS who believe in Steves Mission, OUR MISSION NOW but we will always remember who taught us, we will always miss Steve but he is still here helping so many through everything WE do and I am so grateful for that. RIP STEVE WE LOVE YOU, MISS YOU and will continue your dream.
