8 Mens Rec - 5 Mens Comp - 7 Womens teams Coors of Amarillo Silver Bullet Slam (Softball Tournament) 7/19/14-7/20/14 Divisions Offered: Mens Competitive (NIT) - Mens Rec - Womens Open Entry Fee: $220/team Format: 3 game guarantee bracket Entry Deadline: Tuesday, July 15 2014 @ 5pm Tournament Dates: Saturday, July 19th and Sunday July 20th @ Southwest Complex Awards: 1st Place - Miken Bat Packs - MVP Award - Free Entry into Amarillo Tournament 2nd Place - Coors of Amarillo Individual Awards - MVP Award - Half Entry into Amarillo Tourney 3rd Place - Coors of Amarillo Individual Awards **Offensive MVP Award = Miken Bat and Spider batting gloves **Defensive MVP Award = Fielders glove and Spider batting gloves **Free Tournament/Half Off Tournament Entries do not include State Tournament Mens Rec Homerun Rule: 1st Homerun over the fence is an offensive ejection and ends the inning 2nd homerun ends the game. Mens Competitive Homerun Rule: Teams will decide at the pre-game meeting the number of homeruns. If teams cannot come to an agreement the game will be played allowing both teams 4 homeruns and the excess homeruns will be singles. Womens Open: Womens C teams will spot D teams 2 runs/inning for the first 3 innings & will spot E teams 3 runs/inning for the first 4 innings. D teams will spot E teams 2 runs/inning for the first 3 innings. Run rule is not in effect against teams giving run spot. Top finishing E team will receive bat bags and MVP Awards. If you dont pay prior to the start of your first game your team will be removed from the tournament and your roster will be frozen and players will not be allowed to participate in any City of Amarillo or USSSA sports until fee is paid. If the fee is not paid 7 business days after the final day of the tournament, the coach and team will be suspended for a year.
