8 PM NWS update: Cold front on the edge of I-20 this evening. There are some lower clouds that are developing along and ahead of the front. The rain is pretty much over. Although there is a slim chance at seeing an isolated shower in the southeast this evening or along and south of I-85. There will be a fairly large range in overnight lows...with temps dropping into the low 40s NW to the mid 50s SE. Saturday: With stalled frontal boundary just to the south of Central Alabama, an isolated shower will be possible in the southern counties during the afternoon. Dry conditions expected in the north.
