8 Years ago today at 4AM, an accident happened and changed my life forever. Daddy, there is not a day that passes, that I dont think about Halloween night 2005, Watching you leave for work as I sat on Bacis front steps hanging out Goodies, watching you come down the driveway, for You to say I Love You Angel Princess Ill talk to You tomorrow when You get home from school. and You gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek and then You drove off on to Scotchtown Ave. It kills me to this day that the last family member You saw was Me, I still beat my self up about that. Then the next afternoon I called You and You didnt answer so I called Baci and she didnt answer. Just as I hung the phone up Mom got a call from Papa Blau, Saying that Baci and Papa went thru his lane and that they were on there way to Nyack to pick You up because You were in an accident and that they would call me when they got to Your house so I could talk to You because You left Your Cell phone at the Hospital. Watching Mommys face killed me, She tried to act strong for Me. But at that moment She couldnt.. I could tell that even though You guys were divorced, She still cared, and the when She told me.. My knees got week and I fell to the ground Crying and Screaming. A few hours later the phone rang and It was Baci she said Daddy is ok, Hes just sore, Would You like to talk to him? and I said of course, then I heard Your voice softly say Hey Angel Princess, Im fine, just sore, then I asked what happened and you paused and said We were backing up our rollers to park them for the next day and a car had come in to the closed lane and that I looked up and said WTF? Holy shit this guy is going to hit me, switched gears and BAM! The car hit the rear drum of my roller and I got jerked and whiplash and the front of the car was wedged between the road and the rear drum and the license plate when flying over my head and the car got spat back out. I got off my roller and the car pushed it back 6 feet. Then You said thank god I was going backwards because if i was going forward I would of been dead! So You better pray tonight and Tell God Thank You For Saving Your Daddy Then I asked if the person in the car was hurt and you got all quite and started to cry a little and said Sweetie He Passed away Then I said Daddy can I come Over? You Said Of course I said Ok Daddy, Ill be over in a few I Love You Bye Dad and hung the phone up and left the house to come to yours.. I remember walking in the door afraid to touch you and You said Its Ok Princess You can Hug Me and I did. Heck Mommy even hugged You. and That was just the Start of an almost 8 year adventure of tests, MRIs, Therepy, and dr visits not to mention taking care of you. Daddy I Love You to The Moon and Back Always have and Always Will Xoxo Ill Come and Visit later
