8 a.m. Potter Valley fire update: 150 acres is 30 percent contained. Currently 458 fire personnel assigned to the fire; including 40 fire engines (including Brooktrails, Little Lake, Laytonville, Leggett, Hopland, Ukiah, Comptche, Redwood Valley-Calpella, Anderson Valley, and Potter Valley engines, 15 fire crews; 6 air tankers; 2 helicopters; 8 dozers. Roads closed: Black Bart Trail; Horseshoe Circle. Evacuation order: Hells Delight Canyon at Black Bart Northeast to Potter Valley. Three firefighters received non-serious injuries yesterday when fire lines were overcome by flames. Five structures were destroyed, 25 structures are threatened and the cause is under investigation.
