8 months ago I was recruited heavily to be a part of a publishing start up in Vegas. I had a green light from my family (my sons and my parents) and in my own heart felt it was the right move for me. When things went south with the direction of the company and I could no longer, with integrity, be a part of the company I made the decision to leave and branch out on my own. Beyond Publishing was born within 2 weeks and God has been faithful to connect us with the right authors and open up the right channels, Im so grateful for His direction in my life and for the amazing open doors and favor Hes poured out on me. We are publishing Non-Fiction, Faith Based, Business, Personal Development and Self Help books and next year will launch a fiction imprint. I learned a lot over this past year. Ive learned to forgive, when monies owed me will never be paid, when my character and good name were slandered and when I had to get Attorneys involved. Im grateful that the future is looking bright and some of the most amazing authors and support staff have come my way over the past few months! We published our first book in 2010 and did very well, in fact well be carrying it in our Online store when it goes live along with all of our new and existing authors BEYONDPUBLISHING.co I want to say thank you to family and friends and many new friends who believed in our mission and our vision and who have always been there for us. Maybe it sounds trite but I believe its true when one door closes you can get bitter or better, keep knocking and the door will open!
