8 things you may not know about me- 1). I cant stand going grocery shopping. I really dont like any type of shopping at all. 2). Growing up I always wished I had a sister. I envied my friends, Jackie Papiernik and Karen Bronzell because they had 4 girls in their family. No boys. 3). I never saw myself as a dog person. As a young girl, my Grandma had a chihuahua named Mitsy, and I was terrified of her. Now I have 2 chihuahuas of my own. 4). I have always loved birds. As a teenager, I adopted my friends parakeet Chirpy, and we became best friends. I now own a parrot, a sun conure, who drives me absolutely crazy everyday with its squawking and screaming. I no longer love birds. 5). I met my husband 22 years ago on a blind date/firehouse softball game. We have been married for exactly 22 years with 3 teenaged children. 6). I cannot live without my iPad and adore my iPhone. I google EVERYTHING. I feel like theres nothing I can not find out about or know about. Just ask my husband! 7). I LOVE to cook, bake and read. In that exact order. I live by the mantra, Never trust a skinny cook. Im also very trustworthy! 8). I moved to the Sonoran desert in Arizona 10 years ago. I miss my Chicago roots, but honestly am freezing when its only 70 degrees in the winter here. I sleep with a heated blanket every night in the winter, and live in my pajamas.
