8 weeks ago I stepped on a scale and did not like what I saw. I was 8 pounds away from the heaviest I have ever been. I wanted to lose weight and I was going on a diet. A friend of mine told me that a diet will never work. What I needed to do was make a lifestyle change. So thats what I did. I began by watching my calories and cutting out all the daily and nightly snacking. Did away with high calorie pop and energy drinks. Started eating less by managing proportioning. I even started eating these things called fruits and vegetables. I went as far as eating tomatoes green peppers cucumbers and other things that I had said before that I wont eat. I also began to run and bike. I dont like the bike much but it was necessary since I did something to my knee while running. I did not let my knee keep my down though. I continued to run in little bursts and biked. I set a goal weight that I knew I was happy at before and I am pushing towards it. Today I stepped on the scale and found myself staring at number that is 4 lbs away from my goal. 8 weeks ago i weighed 227 lbs and i have lost 28 lbs I now weigh 199. I have made it past the 205 mark which is what I hovered at for two weeks and didnt think I was gonna even see 200. I pushed myself and I am not gonna stop. My new lifestyle... this is my lifestyle and I will continue to live this way and feel good about my weight!!
