8 years ago today i woke up, put on a 3 piece suit and flip flops, and got married on the beach in Aruba to my best friend and love of my life. Over the course of these 8 years we have had some ups and downs, some good times and bad, and some happy times and sad. You have had to put up with my many trips out of state to visit friends. You have had to put up with all the times i was cutting weight for my fights. You have had to put up with me going to the gym all the time. You have had to put up with me changing jobs/careers. You have had to put up with me now going back to school.....I have had to put up with you snoring. Thank you Laura Giove-Shackelford for not doing much that I have to put up with. And thank you for being the best wife, mother of my kids and friend I could have ever dreamed of. And most of all, thank you for putting up with me and all of my nuances. i am truly blessed to have you in my life. Happy Anniversary!
