#815 In the tone that Luyolo spoke in, I could easily tell that he had given up or lost hope all hope. Its like he didnt see himself getting out of jail again. I looked deep into his eyes and saw the pain as he spoke of happiness...my happiness...something that seemed so impossible without him. Him: please say something Makhumalo. Tears warmed up my eyes. Me:I love you... Ill wait for you. Him:18 years baby? I nodded. Him:I dont want to hold you back. I shook my head. Me:love is patient. Even if it means a lifetime, I would rather wait for. Him:I love you too Zulu lam yeva? I nodded. Him:ndiyavuya xa ufuna undilinda. I promise to love you more everyday, even if it means being away from you. Even if it means not seeing you everyday. Ndizakuthanda still but I have to let you go. Andifun ukubona usoloko unentliziyo ebhlungu. Please take care of yourself. Me:Luyolo. He got up and looked around quickly the then he kissed my forehead and walked out. I got up with tears rushing down my cheeks and went to the car. I got in at the back and cried, I cried so much my tummy hurt, my voice couldnt come out and I was breathing in short, difficult gasps. I couldnt speak at this point but I know the lord knew just exactly what I wanted. Facing my kids became the hardest thing after that. I was informed that Luyolo had left Port Elizabeth together with many other prisoners. Inye into endiye ndaycela kuYesu and that was to protect Luyolo through it all. I was now done with work and back to school. I didnt have friends as such so I hanged out with Malwande most of the time. I doubted he had any friends too so we just enjoyed each others company. Zola still paid Wesley for doing his job aswell as sisGloria for doing hers. Paying the bond for the house was a handful because I wasnt working anymore though Zola had said hes taking care of everything so I shouldnt worry. On the other hand, my dad and I werent talking from that time. I doubted we would be able to mend our bond ever again... It was the middle of the year, hadnt been easy but everyday was still a blessing. The triplets were growing up a lot and able to say a few words while Junior was well groomed at school, so was I. I was just done with my exams and had found a job at the garage where I was a cashier at the convinient store, bendingena ebsuku mostly. It was a tiring job but I needed the cash. I wasnt about to just use Luyolos platinum cards, I still wanted to own my independance. Malwande was with me at Summerstrand, we had just eaten supper and I put the kids to sleep so I could prepare to leave. Malwande:you leaving now? Me:yeah, ndiyangena just now. Him:you love that job? Me:not at all wethu but ndiya ndiqhela. Him:I worry about you kwesaspan sakho. Me:you shouldnt maan, ndisharp pha. I went to the room and took a quick shower then I got dressed and ready, ndabuyela kuMalwande. Me:lilbro, ndiyahamba ngoku. He got up, stretching himself. Him:0kay, Ill leave too ngoku. He switched off the T.v Me:sisGloria will lock up behind us. We walked out. Me:goodnight ne? Him:goodnight sisi. I got in my car and drove off first. Fika kwam espanin, there was chaos outside and in that, I spotted Wandile first then Zola who came up to me. Him:maam ndicela ugoduke. Its not safe for you here. Me:kwenzeka nton? Him:Wandiles crew is here. Bafuna wena nabantwana. Me:why? He held my hand and we walked to my car again. Him:call your brother or something, you need to get out of here. There was a gunshot fired from a distance. He turned and walked away. My eyes met Wandiles then he smiled. I got in my car quickly then drove off. There was a car following closely behind me, I sped through the robots quickly and drove off. There were two cars parked from a distance. My heart beat a little more faster, I then dialed Wesleys number quickly but he didnt pick up. Me:damnit! I made a u-turn and went the Summerstrand direction. Three other cars were infront. The Rover came to a halt then stopped. I had no weapon with me what-so-ever and that meant I was screwed...
