9 1/2 years ago when Ben came into this world, so many of my friends (who had children years earlier) told me the same thing new parents always hear Youve never experienced a love like this. And other sentiments to that extent. What I didnt expect is how that love would grow, expand, and become a consuming force that I could never have imagined. The simplest and mundane passages of time and events touch me in such profound ways that it is impossible to describe. The connection and love I have for this boy defies description and I am beyond grateful to God for this precious gift. I have been through trials and tribulations that I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy and through it all I look up and say Thank you God - You have bestowed upon me the best blessing a person could ever hope to have. (You dont really seem to want to be in scouts son, why are you doing it? Because I want to spend as much time as I possibly can with you Dad) I cant hug him hard enough!
