9/11. Watched a documentary on 9/11 of how our government and military responded as the attacks were happening. Fascinating to hear what Condi Rice (stud) was thinking- the choices she made and all the while concerned about reassuring the world that our government was "not decapitated". Interesting that she called Putin to tell him why we were changing our defcon - in 2011 we were operating from precedents set in the cold war. Even our high powered radar systems focused on invasions from outside the country- none from our interior. I was mesmerized-and proud. Character matters in our leaders. Compare that to Post Bemghazi behaviors. History will not be kind.
