What I really liked was that the author included 9 short stories in this book. Perfect size for when you have to wait (such as at the doctor’s office) and don’t want to get too engrossed in a book. The stories can be read in any order (another plus). I liked all the stories but if I had to select one it would be The Spire. All the stories have a solid plot and the characters are well developed. Great read and even better due to the low cost.
