9 things people may not know about me… 1. My name came from Paris. My mom’s best friend in Kindergarten was a Monica. They were both Army brats. 2. I really want to study Jazz singing. I couldn’t hack jazz piano, but I think I could sing some songs. 3. Getting a car is one of my goals for the New Year. I haven’t owned a car in a few years now. Chris lets me drive his, and I didn’t need one in Korea. 4. It has been years since I’ve shared a short story or poem. 5. If I love you, I’ve worried incessantly about your demise. 6. I’m the last Hooper in my family line. My dad is alive, but everyone else is dead. (I don’t call my dad enough). 7. None of my “siblings” are my blood relations. I’ve just been lucky enough to grow up with Lana and I had really great step siblings (Marann and Andy). Unfortunately, I’ve only met my new step-siblings one time. 8. If I could make you listen to one band it would be Talking Heads. If I could have you read a book by one author it would be Haruki Murakami. 9. I can’t decide if I want a destination wedding or if I want to elope. I’m also afraid that I won’t be able to find a dress that I like. Dressing the part is VERY important to me.
