9 years ago today June 8, 2004 I was “wheels up” in Houston Texas on my first deployment to Iraq with KBR. Now I find myself in a different conflict but still far, far away from home. To my Family thank you for your love and support, to my Warhorse Family thank you for making a difficult place like a home away from home and to all the other people that helped me and those I helped, Thank you also. Do not forget about Warhorse, Tikit, Summerall, Hammer, Warrior and all the places between and the Blood, Sweat and tears alone with the smiles and laughter we shared. Thank you….
