#91 Stir of Echoes (1999 Horror) Suggested by Chelle Cameron Today at lunch I was talking about Kevin Bacon and how pretty much everyone in Hollywood can be link to him within 6 films. The Bacon Number is now programmed into Google so if you type in say John Travolta Bacon Number it will show you how they are linked. Its a fun and interesting way to while away an afternoon. After this conversation it only seemed right that todays film would be a Kevin Bacon one. The 2 Bacon films that stick in my mind are Tremors (class film) and Hollow Man (mainly for his exaggerated schlong that my friend affectionately named his car after) This film could well add to this list of memorable films. As far as horrors go it isnt too scary but Id describe it more as a psychological thriller. After his friend hypnotises him he begins to see flashes of things that have happened. Namely the disappearance of a local girl. As these visions become stronger he begins to realise he may be able to uncover the truth. Its a clever blend of suspense and traditional scare tactics that make the film enjoyable to watch. I liked its plot and its brief flashes of gore werent too much for people to turn away. Certainly worth a watch 7/10
