91) সূরা আশ-শামস (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 15 بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু। Ayahs: | 1-15 | وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا (1 শপথ সূর্যের ও তার কিরণের, And by the sun and its brightness; وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَاهَا (2 শপথ চন্দ্রের যখন তা সূর্যের পশ্চাতে আসে, And by the moon as it follows it (the sun); وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّاهَا (3 শপথ দিবসের যখন সে সূর্যকে প্রখরভাবে প্রকাশ করে, And by the day as it shows up (the sun’s) brightness; وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَاهَا (4 শপথ রাত্রির যখন সে সূর্যকে আচ্ছাদিত করে, And by the night as it conceals it (the sun); وَالسَّمَاء وَمَا بَنَاهَا (5 শপথ আকাশের এবং যিনি তা নির্মাণ করেছেন, তাঁর। And by the heaven and Him Who built it; وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا (6 শপথ পৃথিবীর এবং যিনি তা বিস্তৃত করেছেন, তাঁর, And by the earth and Him Who spread it, وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا (7 শপথ প্রাণের এবং যিনি তা সুবিন্যস্ত করেছেন, তাঁর, And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul, etc.), and Him Who perfected him in proportion; فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا (8 অতঃপর তাকে তার অসৎকর্ম ও সৎকর্মের জ্ঞান দান করেছেন, Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him; قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّاهَا (9 যে নিজেকে শুদ্ধ করে, সেই সফলকাম হয়। Indeed he succeeds who purifies his ownself (i.e. obeys and performs all that Allâh ordered, by following the true Faith of Islâmic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds). وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّاهَا (10 এবং যে নিজেকে কলুষিত করে, সে ব্যর্থ মনোরথ হয়। And indeed he fails who corrupts his ownself (i.e. disobeys what Allâh has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islâmic Monotheism or by following polytheism, etc. or by doing every kind of evil wicked deeds). كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَاهَا (11 সামুদ সম্প্রদায় অবাধ্যতা বশতঃ মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। Thamûd (people) denied (their Prophet) through their transgression (by rejecting the true Faith of Islâmic Monotheism, and by following polytheism, and by committing every kind of sin). إِذِ انبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا (12 যখন তাদের সর্বাধিক হতভাগ্য ব্যক্তি তৎপর হয়ে উঠেছিল। When the most wicked man among them went forth (to kill the she-camel). فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا (13 অতঃপর আল্লাহর রসূল তাদেরকে বলেছিলেনঃ আল্লাহর উষ্ট্রী ও তাকে পানি পান করানোর ব্যাপারে সতর্ক থাক। But the Messenger of Allâh [Sâlih (Saleh) ] said to them: ”Be cautious! Fear the evil end. That is the she-camel of Allâh! (Do not harm it) and bar it not from having its drink!” فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا (14 অতঃপর ওরা তার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল এবং উষ্ট্রীর পা কর্তন করেছিল। তাদের পাপের কারণে তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের উপর ধ্বংস নাযিল করে একাকার করে দিলেন। Then they denied him and they killed it. So their Lord destroyed them because of their sin, and made them equal in destruction (i.e. all grades of people, rich and poor, strong and weak, etc.)! وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَاهَا (15 আল্লাহ তা’আলা এই ধ্বংসের কোন বিরূপ পরিণতির আশংকা করেন না। And He (Allâh) feared not the consequences thereof.
