911 What’s your emergency? This post has been getting a lot of activity. May I respond, please? I am not upset at dispatch or law enforcement. I do not desire to sue the City of Redding…sarcasm folks. I am personally friends with people in both of these offices. My concern is that all of our frustrations (civilian, dispatch, and law enforcement) are not being addressed by Government. The poor dispatch personnel had no patrols to dispatch. They were frustrated I was frustrated. I get it. I work in healthcare. In healthcare government has mandated that hospitals (private business) must maintain minimal healthcare worker to patient ratios at any cost. Why does that same government not have mandates for cities (government agencies) to provide minimum police and fire to census and crime ratios? If government has passed laws that give me a RIGHT to healthcare, why do I not have a right to safety? This will be my approach for implementing change. I have no desire to bring harm to those who tried to help me at dispatch, RPD or the great City of Redding—but I want my family’s safety and my home town back! Without having to suffer the cost and responsibility of taking up arms myself. That’s the governments job isn’t it? Thanks for your support. Please re-post. It is getting the attention we need.
