92-Year-Old Woman Sues North Carolina Over Its Voter ID Laws! 92-year-old Rosanell Eaton (pictured) of Louisburg, N.C., a registered voter since the 1940s, is the lead plaintiff in a lawsuit filed by the NAACP against North Carolina over a new Voter ID law that requires “voters to present government-issued photo identification at the polls and shortens the early voting period from 17 to 10 days. It will also end pre-registration for 16- and 17-year-old voters who will be 18 on Election Day and eliminates same-day voter registration.” It is a clear effort by the GOP to keep Blacks and Latinos away from the polls. But Ms. Eaton is not having ANY of that! As a matter of fact, neither should we!
