9th Annual Y2K9s Barketplace & Doggie Health Fair Nov 30- Dec 1 9-4pm 1000 E. Mermaid Ln (between Stenton and Cheltenham Aves.) Wyndmoor, PA Y2K9s Dog Sports Club will hold its 9th annual Barketplace and Doggie Health Fair on Sat. 11/30 & Sun. 12/1 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm both days. Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted. Proceeds benefit Y2K9s Dog Sports Club, a 501(c)(3) organization. All well-behaved dogs are welcome (no retractable leads, choke or prong collars, please!) Vendors will be offering homemade canine treats, beautiful handmade leashes, toys, jewelry and other pet-related items. Snap a portrait with your pet for your holiday cards. Check out the “Flealess Market” of gently used items and more. Visit with local rescue groups and maybe take home a new best friend. Slightly used dog sports equipment will be for sale, including a full sized Dog Walk. The event is sponsored in part by Ft. Washington Veterinary Hospital, which will be offering nail trims, SNAP tests, microchipping and acupuncture at discounted rates. Staff members will be on hand to answer health-related questions. Demos by Y2K9s members of dog sports including agility, flyball, disc dog, rally, freestyle, nose work and tricks will take place both days. Visit y2k9s.net for a complete schedule of events.
