A 12-year-old boy selling pandesal—who was robbed at knifepoint of his earnings and bread by a still-unidentified man in Deparo, Caloocan—now fears for his life. The boy who sold bread so he could have a bit more allowance and help out his family ended up getting victimized by a grown man who took his total earnings for the day, which amounted to almost P200. A video of the boy crying, shaking, and visibly traumatized has made the rounds on social media. The voice of a bystander who questioned the boy can be heard in the video. The boy revealed that the robber had first bought bread from him before snatching his money. The robber also stole the pandesal the victim was selling. The boy did not want to go home for fear of facing his mother and telling her about his loss, the bystander said. Residents were kind enough to take the boy home after offering him food and drink in order to calm him. The video was posted on Facebook by Christopher Pacheco, who saw the boy outside a convenience store in Deparo, Caloocan City. May God heal the wound of this little boy who has been traumatized by the incident that happens to him. Good Lord heal him, we pray.
