A 17-year-old girl forced into an alley and raped in Detroit. She felt the barrel in her back and he just pushed her into an alley, said Andre Williams, the victims uncle. He violated her in the worst way. Williams says his niece, who well call Kay, recently started a new job and was getting off the bus on Beechwood and Tireman Thursday evening when the attack happened. Her girlfriend was calling her on the phone, he said. She knew she was getting off the bus and going to meet her. When she was going to meet her, she couldnt find her. Walking to a grocery store a block away on Tireman, right across the street from a school. Kay thought she was safe - until a stranger approached her. She went to walk away and walked past the alley and thats when the dude put the gun to her back, Williams said. And he said, Dont turn around, dont say anything, walk into the alley. In the alley Kay says the man raped her, then fled. After he got done with her, he said, You can get up and run, Williams said. He said he usually kills his victims, but shes lucky. While Detroit police dont have much to go on, investigators are working on a sketch. They describe the suspect as a black man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall with a slim build and dark complexion. They also say he has a goatee - and may be wearing a black coat with red trim. Williams says Kay has nightmares about that night and is afraid to go back to her regular routine. Shes 17 years old and trying to keep her life in order, going to school and working, Williams said. And then something happened like this. Williams is hoping someone speaks up and calls Detroit police before he hurts another young woman. He said he usually kills his victims and she was lucky he didnt do that to her, Williams said.
