A 25-year-old man killed in an industrial accident has been named as Richard Calsen. Mr Calsen, a father-to-be, died after being injured at a business in Garden Street, Abbey Village. His family paid tribute to him saying: “We are devastated at the loss of Richard who was sadly taken from us at the prime of his life. “He lived his life to the full. We have lost a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, great friend and father to be, who was looking forward to a bright future.” Emergency services, including police, ambulances and air ambulance were called to the number two shed at the business premises near Chorley at around 3.20pm on Saturday. A statement from Lancashire Police said: “Police were called by the ambulance service to reports that a man had suffered injuries while working at an industrial unit at Abbey Village, near Chorley. “Police and paramedics attended, but sadly a 25-year-old local man was pronounced dead at the scene. chorley-guardian.co.uk/news/local/father-to-be-killed-in-work-accident-1-6623764
