A 30-year-old Quincy man wanted on kidnapping and assault charges was arrested Monday afternoon after a high-speed car chase and a foot pursuit. Roberto “Rascal” Rodriguez is accused of pistol whipping and kidnapping a 25-year-old Quincy woman from a Quincy residence on May 3, and forcing her into a car that traveled to a Quincy motel, said Detective Paul Snyder with the Quincy Police Department. There, he assaulted her again. The driver of the car, Daniel L. Killen, 57, of Quincy, was arrested May 8. Killen told officers that he thought the assault was “OK because he thought they were a couple,” Snyder said. Killen told officers that he did not report the assault because he wanted to go fishing, Snyder said. (Full details at wwrld.us/arrested-chase)
