A 35years old man appeared before grade 2 magistrate court sitting in Fort Portal for illegal harvesting of timber from the government forest. In his ruling Otto Michael heard that Sebimanna aged 35 years old and a resident of Kahuna in Kabarole district on 7th September 2013 was caught by the forest supervisor attached to Itwara forest reserve possessing some timbers that he hard harvested from Itwara government forest in Kijura town council Kabarole district where by the accused never had permission from the responsible personnel. Prosecutions told court that Sebimanna had become a threat to the forest where by the authorities found when he had cut very many trees and a heap of timbers was found in his house. In his words Sebimanna never hard what to testify before court and he will re appear in court on 28th November, this year for further hearing.
