A 5 year old boy was killed a block from me this afternoon. Attacked and killed by a pit bull. Complete tragedy. So sad. Sick that I didntt know as people rushed through stop signs in front of me as I was casually leaving my horses. Sick that I didnt know as sheriff cars raced by me a couple miles later, heading to the scene. Sick that I was way ahead of and never heard a siren from emergency help en route, too. Sick that I didnt know to offer help. Maybe it was too late abyway...maybe not. I was a minute away when it happened.
