A BIG BOOST TO NEGROS TOURISM! IN SIPALAY Cartagena, Palafox ink deal for 99-ha. resort subdivision The Board of Directors of the Cartagena Land Dev. Corp. recently signed a contract with Palafox Associates for the conceptual Master Planning, Site Development Planning, Architectural and Site Engineering Plan for its 99-hectare resort subdivision project in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental. CLDC said in a press release that the plan to build a resort subdivision in the area is a boost to the tourism industry of the province. With the expertise of the world class architects, planners of Palafox Associates, CLDC will conform to green development, providing pocket forests and foot and bike trails for nature lovers and spacious viewing decks, the press release said. CLDC will build a world class resort subdivision and will provide areas for hotels and resort facilities, it added. Located in the white sand beaches of Sipalay , the resort can both be a mountain and beach haven with a view of the famous Danjugan Island Marine Reserve. This project will be a first in this booming province of Negros Occidental, the press release said. Present during the contract signing held at the Punta Bulata Beach resort were architect Felino Palafox, Jr. of Palafox Associates, CLDC president, Dolores Lopez, corporate secretary, architect Ma.
