As ever huge crowds tuned out on the Diamond in Donegal Town this evening to welcome Donegals minor and senior teams back home and indeed to show their unwavering support. Sam may not have reached the hills this year but with the combination of dedicated and committed players and management and probably the best supporters in the country, it is only a matter of time. These lads have nothing to be ashamed of - they gave us their very best all through the years at the expense of their own personal lives and for that the people of Donegal will be eternally grateful. To quote the words of the famous song-You raised us up! Hold your heads up high and be proud of every moment you put on that very special jersey that singles us all out as proud Donegal men.
