A BOY IN HOMABAY COUNTY MISSES 3 KCPE EXAM PAPERS JUST BECAUSE HE LACKED 280 KSHS TO FEED INVIGILATORS. Erick Otieno Asila 15, at Got Kokekech Primary school on Tuesday he was chased away from school by the Headmaster Mr. Charles Nyamweya because he lacked 280 KSHS to feed the invigilators. Asila who is a poor boy went to the headteachers office to try and plead to him so that he can proceed to do the exams but the headmaster replied to him that he had already deregistered him from the National Exam Council data bank (because of 280 kshs) the reply traumatized the boy and he almost fainted. The next day morning the mother who is a widow contacted the media through a friend and thats when Asila was allowed to enter the exam room unfortunately Asila had missed 3 papers despite proceeding with Kiswahili that was going on. The Headteacher however denied sending Asila back home. Its sad that we still have leaders or headteachers of that kind who wants to destroy the bright future of Erick Asila. MEANWHILE Homabay leaders are just roaming around Orange House making noise. Below are HOMA BAY LEADERS; The countys top leaders are Cyprian Awiti (Governor), Joseph Otieno (County Commissioner), Otieno Kajwang (Senator) and Gladys Nyasuna (Women Representative).
