A Bit of History... Fred, Al, Clark & Terry; the first names of the original members of the Facts O Life. The initials of the first names spell FACT. They wanted a LIFE of music. The Facts O Life band was born. Since the name was chosen they have performed in more than half (28) states of the Union. Performing from California to Florida, Canada to the Gulf of Mexico they have logged millions of miles on the road. These minstrels have entertained on the stages of great show-biz centers like Lake Tahoe, Miami Beach, New Orleans, Chicago, Nashville, Branson, Memphis, Dallas and most cities in between.The band has also played some not so famous places like Licking, MO., Goose Bay, Labrador, and Sonderstrom, Greenland. Ask them about an unusual event as they performed their “Jesus Christ Superstar” medley in Sonderstrom, Greenland. The Facts O Life have performed across America at State and County fairs, music festivals, concerts in the park, major hotels, national corporate conventions for law enforcement, Realtor and union associations, political fundraisers, weddings, and private parties.They have also performed for the casino crowds at Cal-Neva, Harrahs, Ameristar, River City, Alton Belle and Casino Queen. Five more talented, versatile, experienced musicians have never been assembled in one quintet. The basic FACTS have 5 musicians and each has his own unique singing style. All five vocalize both lead and harmony. One never tires of hearing the same lead singer over and over when listening to the FACTS. Between them they play 20 different musical instruments, equally at home with 2 guitars on a ZZ Top rocker or a flute trio playing Pomp and Circumstance for a wedding march. The instrumental accompaniment like the voices is constantly changing; a fresh sound on every song. And, they have a unique sound when Terry plays his two saxophones (Tenor and Alto) at the same time.
