A Blessed and Good Friday to All, As we give Almighty God praise for another day of life and for the fact that His Grace is sufficient for you and I (2 Corinthians 12:9) - The Scripture for today comes from the Book of 1st Corinthians, 15th Chapter, 10th verse (NKJB), where the Word of God says - But by the Grace of God I am what I am, and His Grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the Grace of God which was with me. Saints of God, today in this letter our journey with the three little pigs comes to an end. But let me just say this - Remember the 1st and 2nd little pigs? After the party, which the 3rd little pig didnt have time to go to; the brothers went over the third little pigs place to see how he was coming along. When they got there and saw their brother laboring and sweating they said - Come along with us and relax for a while. Were going to the river to take it easy. But, the third little pig graciously declined and continued steadfastly to build his house, not accepting any invitations that would take him away from his task. Listen my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, we as ambassadors for Christ need to build our spiritual lives with the same tenacity as the third little pig. Just like the third little pig DID NOT do – We as Christians cannot allow the enemy, the world, or even family members to detour us away from Gods Mission for our lives. When we detour from Gods Mission, Purpose, and Plan, we detour from Gods Word, which causes us to second guess, compromise, or question not only our faith, but Almighty Gods Promise to us. But His Word tells us in Hebrews 10:23 - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is Faithful that Promised;) - Thank You Jesus!!! Now listen to what the third little pig sang - he got down by singing I build my house of stone, I build my house of brick, I have no chance to sing and dance for play and work dont mix. Oh that third little pig was also a poet and did know it. That third pig was wise and built his house upon the rock. Just as he listened and heeded the advice given to him by his mother – we need to listen and heed the advice given to us by Jesus, Glory to God!!! Jesus, the Living Word of God tells us in Matthew 7:24-25 (NKJB) - Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: [25] and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. And when our house is founded upon a rock, AND THAT ROCK IS JESUS – I dont care how much hot air, stank breath, and wind that big bad wolf the devil comes with to the door of our house! In the Name of Jesus, that devil will NEVER be able to huff and puff and blow our house down. Oh somebody ought to say thank You Jesus!!!! Have a blessed and prosperous day and weekend in the Lord!!!
