A Bluford, Ill. man has been jailed on multiple felony charges after he allegedly reached for a gun and rammed his ATV into a Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputy’s patrol car Tuesday night, knocking the deputy back into his vehicle. Gregory P. Bullard, 39 of Bluford faces preliminary charges of possession of meth with the intent to deliver, aggravated battery of a police officer, criminal damage to state supported property, resisting arrest, fleeing or eluding and unlawful operation of an ATV on a roadway. The gun Bullard was carrying turned out to be a pellet gun with a laser sight.
