A Brief History of CLERIC as remembered by a Survivor of the Cleric-Heretic Wars...Part One....Some of this may be completely mis-remembered but age will do that...It was the summer of 09. Sean-Michael Argo and David R Williams were shopping around a script titled Iron Halo which was a sort of Gibson meets Lovecraft Cyberpunk-Horror Epic. There was some interest and there was some talk about filming in Thailand - specifically Bangkok. While the boys were waiting for that to happen (ed note: never did) they decided to do something along the cyber-vein that they described as Apocalypse Now meets Blade Runner. That became better known as CLERIC. Filmed in 2009 the film was expected to be completed and released in 2010....until the usual post-prod gremlins raised their fug-gly pointed little heads once again and....well it didnt happen. To protect the guilty, lets fast forward...really fast forward...to now...Sean put together a next to final version then passed to David for further final tweaking, addition of VFX that had gone missing, addition of new VFX that had never happened, some degree of sound fixin, some additional scoring and some ADR. As of this writing we are about 7 days from final final version and about 30 days out from CLERIC being available on Amazon Video on Demand and DVD on Demand....end transmission part one....
