A CASE OF PRECOCIOUS PUBERTY by HDr Mir Zahed. Last month a person came to me in a great worry and told that his daughter who is now 6 yrs old is developing signs of puberty, (developing breasts, increase in size of hips, . appearing pubic hair). they have consulted several doctors including some gynecologists who have excused. they say there is no solution to this problem. Do you have some solution. I had not treated such a case before, however having faith on our homoeopathic system I asked him to bring the girl and her mother. Patients mother informed that she is very mild and obedient, obeys mother easily, doses whatever is asked for, she didnt ask the mother for milk even when she was little, mother herself used to give her milk or food, She is HOT, feels hot more than cold, and is fond of bathing. This nature and thermal reaction was reminding me PULS but the disease nature was opposite to PULS. I further inquired and came to know that she has a marked desire for EGGS. It was again opposite to PULS. So I inquired further history, that is very interesting. Patients mother was very weak, lean and anemic from before marriage, could not conceive for some yrs, doctors told she was too weak to conceive. however she conceived and born a child and then another and again conceived and aborted with medicines, then 4th pregnancy was miscarriage in 2nd month. the girl was her mothers fifth pregnancy. Mothers sister had no child and she promised to herself if she had a male baby she would give the baby to her sister. in 4th or 5th month they git ultrasound and came to know its girl. she became very very sad used to weep a lot and didnt eat. its daughter! How can i give a son to my sister. when the child born it was 25 days premature, was all cyanotic, breathing greatly difficult, was put in incubator for a week and then survived. I further knew she had cold feet and hand even in summer. So now i picked the rubrics 1: Mind, anxiety, others for, 2: Constitutions, lean, thin 3: Diseases, anemia Phos, Ars, Calc-p, and Sulph came up. Studying female section of these remedies, first symptom Calc-p in Vermeulen MM was menses too early, excessive and bright in girls Her DESIRE FOR EGGS also beautifully fitted. I gave Single dose of Calc-p 1M. 15 days after, development of breasts and hips seemed to be stopped, 1 month after, no further development of breast, body shape seeming somewhat smarter like children, mentally improving in study.
