A Child Passenger Safety Technician Renewal Course is being offered in Washtenaw County through an OHSP grant: Please pass this on to any expired technicians that would like to be recertified, and have maintained their skills and understand the current recommendations: A one-day CPS renewal class is being offered for expired technicians who wish to regain their certification, without retaking the four day technician class. This is NOT an update or refresher course. It provides a brief overview of the technical information contained in the most recent version of the NHTSA curriculum, verifies technical skills through hands-on testing, and assesses CPS knowledge through an on-site written test.
