A Christmas-New Year follow-up for my friends and family: To - TopicsExpress

A Christmas-New Year follow-up for my friends and family: To start, THANK YOU ALL for your continued, consistent, heart-felt outpouring of support, prayers and love during the difficult time immediately following the passing our mother, Trudy three days before Christmas. Before typing another word, I would be remiss in my expression of love if I didnt recognize the sacrifice required of my Florida family; my Bethie (Beth Murray) and our kids and grandbabies who allowed me to attend the funeral. This required my being absent from an important event in our lives, the gathering of our immediate family at Christmas time. They endured under the stresses that come with travelling during the holidays, only to find that I was called away on family business elsewhere, 1000 miles away. No easy task, as were (Beths and my family) a fairly close-knit group. They still made the best of a difficult time and made some memories of their own. And, they left presents for PoPoP to boot! Thank you, my family, for being so strong through it all. My heart sails by knowing that I am loved by my Bethie and my family. And, my love for you all is deep and unwavering! Now friends, I wont attempt to list all who posted support and prayers as I would inevitably miss someones name. Just know that all posts were read, brought to heart and are now cherished! Thank you to all! Along with my amazing family, Ive been blessed with amazing friends, as well. I do, however, want to thank my brother, Thomas Murray and his bride, Barbara Murray (my sister-in-law for nearly 40 years) for opening up their home to me during my stay. You went way above and beyond to bring us and our siblings and Dad together in a way we hadnt experienced, ever! The memories made there are cherished. You have an amazing family as well, and your love for them is reflected in their actions towards others. Thank you! As we move forward in the new year, Id like to impart some little slices of experience and knowledge gained, for your use....day-to-day. -Do not let time come between you and the ones you love. -Do not allow gaps of months or years to develop between phone calls and visits. -Do not give up on letting your loved ones know how you feel. Lost time is just that......lost! May all of my family and friends experience a joyous, prosperous, healthy and happy new year! Peace and God Bless you all!!!! Tim
