A Clean Yard: How to Get One in 5 Easy Steps. Do you envy a house with a clean yard? If so, why not clean your own yard up? This will not only make you feel better when you come home, but it will make your neighbors happy because you house will be less of an eye sore with a clean yard. Here are some 5 simple steps to ensuring you have a clean yard: 1. Eliminate the junk. If you have old junk such as broken chairs and loose odds and ends scattered in your yard, get rid of these. Load them up all at once and haul them off to the dump ground. You might even want to hire a handy worker to do this for you if you dont have the time. Useless junk only gets in the way of having a clean yard. 2. Reduce the clutter. Think carefully before you keep an item when cleaning up around your yard. The item might still be of good use, but the question is how often do you actually use the item? If you rarely use the item, either sell it in a garage sale or give it to someone who can use it. Youll be happy to have one less item to clean around. 3. Rake your leaves. A few fallen leaves can provide a sense of the season, but a yard full of fallen leaves gives off the feel of an unkempt yard. Save yourself and your neighbors the eye sore and go ahead and rake up your leaves. You can bag them or burn them, depending on your city ordinance regulations. 4. Clean your porch. Often a home owner views a porch as extra storage space. So, if you have items stored on your porch, store them elsewhere. This way you can enjoy your porch for activities, such as sitting on it. If you have overly decorated your porch, try getting rid of some of your decorations. An understated porch is classy. :) 5. Secure your trash bins. Its a nuisance to have to deal with trash that gets loose from your trash bins. Plus, the loose trash makes it seem as if you fail to care about keeping a clean yard. Protect yourself against turned over trash by making sure that your trash bins rest on steady ground and are secure enough that a strong wind wont turn them over. *There are any more ways to help clean your yard exist. However, these 5 steps will help you with the initial process, and these 5 steps serve as maintenance to help maintain a clean yard. So, dont feel overwhelmed with your dirty yard. Follow these 5 simple steps, and youll soon have a clean yard you can be proud of.
