City-born and raised in Melbourne, Alice is married to fifth generation grazier, Rick Greenup, and together with their three children, they run a beef cattle operation near Kumbia, in the Burnett region of Queensland. Greenup Eidsvold Station Santa Gertrudis is one of Australia’s largest seedstock operations, spanning sixty thousand acres and 6000 head of cattle. Despite a serious horse riding accident in 2003, in which she sustained brain damage and severe internal injuries, Alice is back in the saddle and her passion for rural Australia is stronger than ever. Author, wife, mother of three, beef producer, marketing director, office manager and passionate rural industry advocate, are some of the daily roles enjoyed by Alice Greenup.
