A DAY SUPPOSED TO BE UNITY DAY-DAY 3 God is faithful he will walk us into 2015 without fear of favour. Just imagine we are counting down to 2018. I wonder why they said it’s counting down while we are adding more numbers. Everything in our physical life does not make sense. There is no sense in creating orphans and widows as a way of weakening the population in an operation called Gukurahundi. Before I tackle the issue of Gukurahundi 2 which is sensitive as well, let me answer inbox questions from brother Malcom. He wanted to know if I have any political aspirations. He asked me if I see myself in the near future tackling national issues from the parliament house. That question is too personal, however I will listen to Gods voice on that since I seek his wisdom and guidance daily. Suppose he gives me an assignment it will be unwise to turn him down unless if I am bargaining for a punishment equal to that of Jonah. Your second question will help me to conclude the first Gukurahundi. You said I should come up with suggestions to end tribalism rather than analyse without solutions. On that note I am glad to announce that Tribalism has no medals neither does it solve anyone’s socio-political-economic problems. Ndebele’s who think Shona’s are the problem they live in the dark world and they are ignorant. Shona’s who think Ndebele’s are the problem they live in the dark world and there are ignorant. Ndebele’s and Shona’s must know their identity. You are Zimbabweans, your code is 263. Internationally you are coded ZW or ZWE. At birth we do not choose a family or language but as we grow up we have choices to love or hate. It is those choices you are judged against. Ndebele and Shona unite to deal with leadership crisis that is occupying our political offices. Perpetrators of Gukurahundi, your victims need closure. Get off your high heels and apologise. If we could remove our shoes for mbuya Rossina and the mountain of diesel (Chinhoyi) we can do the same on the Mount of Olives. The mountain of peace where we can extend an olive branch to each other and let bygones be bygones. Lastly on this one let us change names of Provinces to something that does not identify with a tribe. The moment we say Mashonaland, Manicaland or Matabeleland we have given title deeds to a particular tribe excluding other Zimbabweans. The second Gukurahundi was not tribal it was racial. Beginning in 1999, the nation woke up with the news of Farm Invasions marking Gukurahundi 2. Black versus white. The main actors were the war veterans as they forced the government to bow down to their demands. Blood was spilt, widows and orphans were created and many were displaced. If it was land distribution it was not going to be a sensitive issue. In this case it was sensitive because it was invasion a good name for unplanned chaotic redistribution. I am not worried on whether it was right or wrong but my worry was on killing, was it worth it? Was it not spreading a seed of hate among a people who were led into reconciliation by leaders in the period 1979/80? Was it another divide and rule? Let’s hope it was not a punishment for their open sponsorship of MDC which was a new threat to the 20 year rule. Why did Britain fail to honour its promise of sponsoring land re distribution? Why did the government wait for the war vets to cause confusion instead of addressing the land question immediately after the expiry of a 10 year period agreed upon at Lancaster House conference? The second Gukurahundi had an ugly face. It widened the gap between the ZANU faith fulls and ordinary opposition and non-partisan citizens. The ZANU faith fulls (fools) got multiple farms and one will not be wrong to think land was taken from whites and handed to people who are more equal than the others. Gukurahundi one and two have similarities. They were all meant to champion divide and rule, they were all made to remind the population that ZANU is in control, they were made to chicken people from thinking of any form of a resistance. The two cases uncover the emotional way of dealing with a problem a tactic that has kept ZANU strong and going, breeding a culture of fear and conformity on all citizens including the chicken in the ruining party. They cannot say “NO” to their leader. That does not spare them from the evil definition of saying they too are cowards. In case one needs me to address solutions now. The solution is simple. Leaders should respect citizens. The ruling party should respect opposition partie. The President, MPs, senators, councillors, opposition parties and their leaders, the police, CIO and the army without forgetting war vets, you must not forget to respect the constitution. We must live in harmony as a nation. We are not some pride in the centre of Gonarezhou. We need transformational leadership. Our leaders must be morally upright. STOP TRIBALISM, STOP RACISM, STOP THE HATE, ZIMBABWE IS ONE, ZIMBABWE IS FOR US ALL. LET US NOT ALLOW POLITICIANS TO SET US UP. TRIBALISM IS BARBARIC, SATANIC AND OUT DATED. YOU CANNOT LIVE IN THE PAST. ZERO TOLERANCE TO TRIBALISM. NDEBELE AND SHONA YOU ARE A PEOPLE AND YOU ARE ONE. SOLUTIONS START WITH YOU.
