A DISTURBING LOOKING SKY- but thats about it...for now. This formation was from a warm front just moseying around as it headed north. Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 1155AM. Clouds that mean more serious business will move in later and bring us some heavy wind and rain action Tuesday. This was a good training exercise for our storm spotting cameras that have very high resolution for storm cloud study with a 170 degree wide-angle lens. Although they can be rigged to go under water up to 75-100ft.,the fact that theyre water proof for doing storm stuff is good enough for me as Im not a diver, at least not voluntarily.
