A Day In the Life of a Peanut Farmer /Hunting Guide. Chapter One Get up early , make coffee and take grandson to deer stand return home feed horses and head out to peanut field to check combines, 8 am Landon calls ,got one down gonna sit awhile come get me 9:30 . Pick up Landon and deer deliver to processor stop at meat place for ribeyes for supper return home doctor up steaks and head back to peanut field ,pickup workers and head for lunch. Pick peanuts until dark thirty come home and start the grill, about 8:15 mobile rings some jackass wanting to speak to Mr. Walker for a survey,told him I was the butler and that Mr. Walker was still in the peanut field rain is coming so he is working late and to call back around 1 am he should be home by then. Jackass said 1 am would be much too late to call, told him Mr. Walker said 8: 15 on a SATURDAY NITE was too late to call for a survey . The Clicking sound was so sweet.
