A Day in Bariloche After having chocolate breakfast wander - TopicsExpress

A Day in Bariloche After having chocolate breakfast wander through the streets of the Civic Centre, the Esplanade and the Cathedral. All this is built in the style created by Architect Bustillo, combining Oak timber and rocks. The whole Cathedral is built in rocks with the exception of the stained glass windows (more than 20 of them). After lunch first go to Cerro Campanario (Bell Tower Mountain) and take the chair lift to the top, where you could appreciate a 360 degrees view of the area. Isla Victoria at the North, the Llao Llao Hotel with the Volcan Tronador in the background at the East, the Andes with the snow at the South and the city of Bariloche and Cerro Otto at the West. All cameras fire in different directions trying to make the most of it. From there do a quick visit to San Eduardo Church, built around 1930 to have a Church close to the Llao Llao Hotel and a drive through the Llao Llao itself, before driving to Panoramic Point. From here you have a different view of the two main lakes Perito Moreno and Nahuel Huapi, as well as Isla Victoria and the Hotel. Finished off with more chocolate at the Swiss Village, a group of little shops where local producers sell their craft including smoked meats, preserves and wool and leather crafts.
