A Fun event offered in Nevada County, not to far from Harmony Ridge Resort ( 20 min drive ) is: Wildflower Walk at Buttermilk Bend, Event is free, donations appreciated. Wear good walking shoes and bring water. Companion dogs are not permitted, Flower displays vary from year to year and we’re looking forward to seeing what Mother Nature has in store for us this spring, on the Buttermilk Bend Trail on the South Yuba River. Event Location: Bridgeport, Penn Valley. Age Range: All Ages welcome for Guided Wildflower Walks that are offered Saturdays and Sundays from March 8th through May 11 at the South Yuba River State Park, Bridgeport.
