A GODLY LADY By Antonio C. San Jose What truly makes a lady godly Is her faithful devotion to God with heart so glad. Her beauty - that is so comely, Radiates from her delight in the words of God. A godly lady never walks among femmes fatales Whose ways lead fore to perdition. People converse on her testimony being flawless Even before our holy congregation. Only godly beauty will never wither: Either the heaven above rains grace Or the earth here moists care to her. Only godly lady will never falter: Because of God’s loving embrace, Angels will gaze with care on her.
