A HUGE SHOUT OUT to Platt Springs United Methodist members who came to my aid..Shirley Gregory Ward, Linda Adams Swittenberg, Jason Barrs, Don Smyth, & Boykin Roseborough as they provided help, tech set-up, and support as we prepared for the Lady Eagles Soccer Banquet this evening. It was bittersweet as this is Danas Senior Year. To the many parents who I have not met until tonight ( B team, JV were included & over 140 people present) and did not catch your name, Thank you for helping to clean up! To the Varsity parents; Wendy & Steve Bonnette, Joey & Kay Austin, Kyle & Her husband, Stephanie Jody Davis , and many others-Thank you for the awesome decorations, set-up, clean up, and your continued support of the Lady Eagles Team! I will truly miss the home games, tournaments, road trips on charter busses, but mostly the loyal support! It has been a four year awesome ride and grateful to have been a small part of it all! Feeling blessed, happy, and a little emotional as the high school years come to a close, but I am excited for the future as Morgan Alyssa Mccray and Dana Hooper will continue their education together at Columbia College and they will be Koala Soccer Teammates!!! Momo and Day-Day have been playing soccer together since first grade! Warms my heart as there is a great deal of history between these two girls!
