A HUGE afternoon for our regions volunteers at this years MEMSA conference. Our rehab team (and that means you if youve ever helped with even one event!) was honored as the 2014 volunteer EMS Service of the Year. This is a direct reflection of the countless hours and days that volunteers from our region have ensured that our fellow responders stay safe while doing what they do best (if you dont believe me, just gander thru any one of the 1000+ pics that weve posted to this page!). To every volunteer in our ranks, Thank You for all of your efforts in making our lives a little easier! And congratulations to Stan Stocker (Le Center Ambulance) for being chosen as the 2014 EMT of the Year. Stan has consistently set the standard for giving back to EMS and the community, and you would be hard pressed to find someone as resourceful, insightful, and genuine as Stan. To all of our volunteers and Stan, congrats!
