A HUGE lesson learnt today through experience. I was in Sainsburys this morning wandering around. As I approached the bread aisle a tiny elderly woman waved for my attention. My guess is that she was at least 85 and looked like she had shrunk through age. She had a warm tweed coat on and this beautiful green hat. Her wrinkled smile revealed a compassionate plea. She asked; Please can you reach up there and get me a loaf of that bread young man? I was so happy to help her and smiled the whole time. She was so thankful and I felt really great. My HUGE lesson - we are not good at asking for help and yet when we do, the impact it has on those who are allowed to help us is immense. Do we have to get old and lose the EGOs inhibitions of feeling less than before we can openly ask for help? I believe we need to be humble and ask for help. Allow people to assist us and guide us. Not only do we grow but we also bring huge kindness to the world. Love & Courage
