A HUGE round of applause and congratulations goes out from the Dellas to the amazing Pickathon festival! Yall rock and we hope to come back again and again! We pulled up at 9am on Saturday and were immediately met with coffee, sweet fans, generous hospitality, and great music. As soon as Nickel Creek played their last note on Saturday night, the Dellas took to the Starlight Stage and the crowd was pumped up! Thank you to the fans who posted pictures of that show! We shared them here, along with a few photos from our awesome sound engineer, Tim. Sunday afternoon we played a workshop set in the packed and sweaty Lucky Barn. It is always great to talk about our international travels with American Music Abroad and to chat about tour life with the crowd. After that set, we trucked over to a cute little barn and recorded Polk County with the Pickathon video crew. Our last hurrah of the day took place at the Pump House for a legendary Live & Breathing video shoot. Keep your eyes open, we will post those videos as soon as they are available! The Dellas really enjoyed watching sets from Nickel Creek, Valerie June, Bar Brothers, Warpaint, Shakey Graves, Cahalen Morrison & Country Hammer, Mandolin Orange, and The Black Lillies!
